Sachin Pilgaonkar is a veteran multitalented Indian actor, director, producer, writer, editor, singer, and television personality with over six decades in the entertainment industry. He began his career as a child artist at the age of five with the Marathi film Ha Maza Marg Ekala, earning the President’s Award. His Hindi debut as a hero came with Geet Gaata Chal, followed by numerous hits across Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bhojpuri, and English cinema, including Balika Badhu, Nadiya Ke Paar, Satte Pe Satta, and Katiyar Kaljat Ghusali.
As a director, he has helmed 16 successful Marathi films and notable Hindi films like Prem Deewane. He has also produced acclaimed Marathi films under banners Kittu Films and Sushriya Chitra. On television, he gained popularity through shows like Tu Tu Main Main, Eka Peksha Ek, and as a judge on various reality shows.
Sachin is also a singer, live performer, and the author of the Marathi autobiography Hach Maza Maarg. He has received numerous accolades, including National Awards, Filmfare Awards, and the Maharashtra Government’s V. Shantaram Award for his contribution to Indian cinema.
