Kabir Cafe is Indian based Neo-Folk Fusion band, that plays, the poetry of 15th Century Indian Mystic – KABIR, in a substrate of Indian Folk Music, mixed contemporary genres of Rock, Reggae, Pop and Carnatic music. They have played in 700+ shows in their short three and half years of existence and have toured many countries. Their songs Fakiri and Hoshiyar Rehna have been featured in Bollywood movies HINDI MEDIUM and BADSHAH, the latter having clocked more than 6 million hits on YouTube. They are among the top 3 Folk-Fusion / Indie bands in India, alongside the Indian Ocean and Raghu Dixit Project.
