OMegha Spark is a group of friends from the Kitchener Waterloo region who find joy in dancing and staying connected to their Indian roots. They love to perform on Rajasthani pieces like traditional Ghoomar and Chirmi, tribal dances like Kalbeliya, dances based on puppet shows etc. The main idea of the group is to have a platform to come together and achieve something beyond the regular grind. They enjoy meeting for practices, making props, choreographing the songs, and arranging costumes. Dance helps them stay fit, learn a skill, give some cultural exposure to the kids and add excitement to events like Diwali and Independence Day.
