Shirsha is a fresh artist creating unique soundscapes with her influences from various Western and Eastern genres. She has recorded with Shankar Mahadevan, performed with Ash King, and collaborated with Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and pianist Laura Sullivan. She is honoured to have had the opportunity to perform with award-winning jazz musicians like Christian McBride, Larry Goldings, and to be recorded by Joni Mitchell’s producer, Larry Klein. Shirsha has recently given powerful prime time performances at the International Film Festival of South Asia (“IFFSA”) and Cana da’s largest South Asian music festival, “Bollywood Monster Mashup”. She has two singles, “Candour” and “Mirror”, which are available on all major streaming platforms, including SoundCloud. More music is coming soon, where Shirsha creates alt-pop/R&B music with splashes of Jazz and Indian influences, written from vulnerable points of view.
