Shyamala Dance Academy specializes in the Kathak classical dance form. The founder and director Shyamala started this school 13 years ago from Vishnu Mandir in Richmond Hill. From a humble beginning of training a small group of students , it has now grown to training nearly 100 students in a year !

Their team of dancers are a talented group of kids and adults. They have performed at many landmark events and festivals all throughout the GTA. Their choreographies range from classical to semi classical to fusion to bollywood. They are also trained in various folk dances like ghoomar , Garba and bengalí folk and have performed these dances at many occasions. 

They believe in sharing their art with all the dance lovers with utmost dedication and spreading the knowledge and joy of dance to one and all!
