Swara, born in Chicago and raised in Bangalore, started learning classical music in Bangalore at the age of 7. She gave multiple live public performances in Bangalore by singing light music and devotional songs along with her guru “Mruthyunjay C Doddawad”. She sang a song for environmental awareness CD at the age of 9, which got released in 2010. After moving to Canada, she is learning Carnatic music from Vidwan Sujatha Tantry for the last 2 years and has given several public performances. She is the winner of the Panorama India Idol 2017 junior category.
