Toronto Kathakali School, founded in 2021 by Rajish Ramankutty, is dedicated to promoting and preserving India’s classical dance traditions, with a special focus on Kathakali. Over the years, the school has proudly represented Indian culture at festivals across Ontario and Canada. He is an internationally acclaimed artist who has performed in Italy, Greece, Libya, Colombia, US and Moscow.

While rooted in classical art forms, the school has recently begun exploring collaborations with other Indian dance traditions, blending styles to showcase the beauty of India’s cultural diversity. In collaboration with Kalasagaram School of Arts, this performance for Incredible India brings together classical, folk, and contemporary forms to celebrate unity in diversity on stage.
